2- I would not as a hostess, call it dessert. I would say, want some fruit? But I wouldn't see cll it dessert. -
I don't even like actual desserts that have fruit in them so yes I would be disappointed lol! When I go out to eat with friends or with clients I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't get all excited about the fruit based dessert options. I go straight for the ice cream or chocolate cake.

LOL this is hilarious!! A dessert to me is the promise of something with chocolate, sugar, and/or butter...plain old fruit? No. Way.

Now I'm feeling bad! I served fruit as a dessert on Mother's Day for my mom. It was strawberries and fresh whipped cream in fancy dishes though (for lunch). Am I forgiven?
