I don't have a LO but my husband works nights half the time and I usually get scared right before bed. I feel like a little kid worried about monsters under the bed!

Hehe. I always get scared. I even get scared when Rob Sr. goes out for an errand and he's not back within 10 mins. I start imagining all kinds of weird things and what I would do (the answer is usually go to my parents' house in Philly). Haha.

This is why I'm glad I have two small barky dogs! It's annoying when they bark when someone comes in the house, but I know for sure that if they're not barking, no one is around. Plus one of my dogs sounds like a big scary dog. So figure if someone approaches our house and hears him barking, they'd probably move on to a different house.

No, maybe because I lived alone before we got together. I do leave lights on at night though. We have an alarm, but it's nice to have lights in case it may deter someone.

as long as my curtains are closed, I am good. if the curtains are open & it's all black outside, though {we have a huge field behind our house}, then I start to freak myself out.

I am totally scared. I've never lived along (lived at home until I got married), so I'm used to always having someone there with me. He doesn't go away very often (maybe 1-2x/year) but I'm always having the dog sleep on our bed to comfort me. LOL.

I used to be sooooo scared of being alone. But with DH's new job situation I have to live with out him for the week days every week so I have learned to deal with it.

No LO yet, but I do get super scared when I'm alone at night. Once, DH went to band practice and I got so scared that I had to call security to come up and search my 1 bedroom apartment. And band practice is only for a couple of hours! I hate to say it, but when he's gone I usually have to take a sleeping pill in order to get any sleep I get so scared!

I dont have a LO but I get a little scared when I am staying at our house without DH. Back in June he was out of town for a week and I hated it!

I never have to be home alone at night because my mom stays with me if dh is gone. It's easier to have help because I have to take care of the dog and baby. But before the baby I'd stay alone,and I was always ok because we have a pretty big dog. He'd just lick an intruder and love up on them...but I feel like his bark would scare them away before that could happen.
