There are no placebo pills...so should I just expect to not get my period while I am taking this?
I am 3.5 months post partum, breastfeeding (although not exclusively) and LO sleeps through the night most nights. No period yet.

are you doing three weeks on 1 week off or just straight through?

@prettylizy: Just straight through, like the package instructs.

@highwire: then I would assume no period? I didn't take the mini-pill I went on mirena but my BFF got her period back at 8 months PP on the mini pill. I probably shouldn't answer this since I didnt' take it! lol!!

@prettylizy: Ha no worries! The doctor said I might have breakthrough bleeding, but nothing so far.

LO is almost 7 mos and I have been on the mini pill since 6 weeks pp. No period or spotting yet, but I don't skip a week so I didn't expect to get it yet.

I've been on it since 7 weeks pp. LO is now 4.5 months, EBF, and not STTN, and I haven't gotten a period yet.

Bumping this - I have the same question. 12 weeks postpartum, EBF, no period yet. Going to start minipill ...
Anything I should be aware of?
Does it matter when I start it?

I get my period on the mini pill but I had it even before I started it. So annoying.
