Everyone's got a crazy mother in law. But does anyone have a crazy father in law?!
My FIL is really great! His only downfall is he sides with MIL no matter what. And she be cray cray!

Not really. He's pretty chill. Although both he and MIL honestly believe my husband can do no wrong.

I have a crazy MIL and a usually sensible FIL. He do go into wedding mode and wanted everything his way. Luckily that only lasted for the wedding.

Nope, I love my FIL! He's like a second Dad to me. But I also love my MIL to pieces, so I guess I'm lucky in that aspect!

FIL seems so chill and sane compared to mil! Same as you though - he sides with mil every time so can never say anything to her about her behavior otherwise they both get offended and blow up with fury.

He isn't crazy but I do prefer my Step MIL over him. He tries way too hard.

My fil is one of the more rational people I have ever met, he can be abrupt but he is very kind and generous.

I can't really figure out my FIL. On one hand he's extremely generous and very much loves his family. He would do anything for any of us. On the other hand he's quite eccentric, introverted to the point of being rude, a selfish communicator, and pouts a lot.

Nope, he's really laid back. Although he does tend to defend my crazy MIL which is funny, because they are divorced.
