I didnt think they were necessary at first but now LO is 8 weeks and has started paying a lot more attention to her crib mobile and her swing that has a mirror and mobile over it. so just as an experiment i put the removable bunny from her snugabunny swing over her carseat and she loves looking it at in the car. I want to get her a real car seat hanging toy with more colors and I'm looking for recommendations

We happened to be given lots of hanging toys so I put one on and try to change it every day. LO (9 weeks old today) LOVES them. I don't really get it....he seems to like the 'plain' ones as much as the fancy 'baby dice'. I did register for the 'baby dice' because they seemed like the most interesting of the hanging toys, but like I said, he seems interested in just about anything hanging there.

I always thought that they were dangerous in case of an accident? So I never put anything there if we were in the car but if I was just using her infant seat with the snap and go then I used the first one that Mrs. Bee linked to.

I just hung her Sophie off the handle and that was good enough for her!

@Andrea: we don't drive. so we use that sucker with our car seat, stroller, and bouncer. at 8+ months, Olive still loves it.

@Mrs. Bee: I mainly used the Tiny Love one on our bouncer, too, but DD stopped wanting to sit in her bouncer after 4 months so we didn't get as much use out of it as you have!

I just take the little toys off of her activity mat and attach them to the carseat straps. I also have a few rattles and toy keys that I put in her cup holder and she grabs them when she wants to play with them. She is 7 months now and she loves playing with toys during car rides or while in her stroller.

I think I will get this toy because its soft so even in case of an accident it wont be a hazard.

We got this orange and red monkey that plays music when you touch it's nose that I've been putting on his carseat for about 4 weeks now(he's 7 weeks, I know it was early). He loves the music it plays and smiles everytime it plays and sometimes I see him rubbing it's ear. He's got so many I need to start adding more!
