I often wonder what it would be like to be a doctor, nurse, or teacher.....where you are on your feet and not in front of a comutper.....and therefore really can't slack off!
Technically, I am able to slack. But I must keep track of my hours billed so when I slack, I'm held accountable.
Do you have a job where you can slack?

I technically can since I work from home, but I have so much work to do that if I slacked I would just be terribly behind. So I don't get to slack very much.

yeah, i can slack at my day job. i have probably 4-6 hours of work to do and the rest is blobbing around. and now it's becoming slow season and i have two more weeks left. those blobbing around hours are going to be bad!

Depends on the time of the year. There are some days that I know there is a lot going on and maybe the kids won't have a lot of attention. However, we have things we HAVE to get through for our curriculum. The 4 days before we leave for Christmas break will be a bit more of fun days because the kids will be off the walls with excitement. Grades will also be turned in the Friday before, so just fun activites, like Christmas parties.

Yes, i can. I used to work for a consulting firm so it was a lot more stressful because i needed to account for ALL of my hours. It is so much better working for corporate.

I shouldn't, but the front desk at my clinic isn't that great at scheduling so I have a lot of downtime! Luckily, I'm paid salary so it doesn't really affect me.

For the most part, yes. My job is pretty laid back. Ever since I came back from maternity leave, I haven't been a very good worker. I'm surprised I still have a job, some days. Guess I need to kick it up a little bit if I plan on having another baby.

Yes...slacking right now! Some days I'm super busy. Others, I only have an hour or so of work. The rest of the day I pretend like I'm working.

hahah. My old job I could not slack--make it hard to keep up with you may mamas during the pregnancy after work.
As a SAHM I can slack...

Yes, very easily and very often. I typically do about 3 hours of work per 8 hour day. I don't have that much to do, but I have to be here so I just surf the internet when I have nothing else to do!
