We have one that is hooked up directly into the water line. Pretty neat because the water never runs out!

Nope, and for a while it was aggravating trying to re-fill my water bottle with lukewarm tap water, but they recently installed a filter and a 'bottle-filler' on the water fountain nearby, so I'm happy!

Yes, and it is the best thing ever, until the water runs out and we have to wait for a delivery.
