I have one Grandmother, so does my husband. All of our grandfathers died pretty early.

dh and i both our maternal grandmothers.
i still miss my grandpa every day. and imagine how much joy he'd have watching ds grow.
he passed away when i was a sr in hs.

My dads mom is the only one left, DH doesn't have any grandparents living.

I have one living grandmother. My other grandparents passed away before I was born, and my grandfather died when I was younger. My DH has one set of living grandparents. His grandmother died when he was young, and his grandfather died when he was in high school.

I have my maternal grandmother & grandfather (but I rarely speak to my grandmother
) DH has his maternal grandmother & paternal grandfather and he doesn't speak to or see his grandfather.

My mom's mom is still around. My mom's dad passed when she was a young girl and my grandma never remarried. My dad's parents both died about 5-10 years ago in their 90s.
WS's grandparents all passed before he graduated college.

No, lo was able to meet both of my grandmas but they have since passed away. Lo was the last thing my grandma saw. She opened her eyes, said los name, and then was out again. Lo was her favorite person ever, only great grandchild that she got to meet.

I have both grandmothers. My mom lost her dad when she was 4 and my grandpa passed in 2006.
My DH has lots of grandparents! Both sets divorced later in their marriages and then remarried. He has 3 grandfather figures and 4 Grandmas! -
One. She is 93 and I met her for the first time when I visited Vietnam last November. Sadly, she is not doing to well and had two strokes recently. My dad went back to take care of her. I don't think she'll be around much longer.
My other grandparents died in their 50s except for grandfather who lived to his 70s I think.

Between me and DH, We have 4 bio and 2 step - pretty amazing considering he is 30 and I am almost 29.

I have one grandmother. She'll be 94 in October!
My parents want to fly out here with her so she can meet DS and see the kids. I can't imagine a 94 yr old having to fly, so we're probably gonna fly out there! -
@MsLipGloss: wow! I was just reading an article about a 87 year old track star. She said her motivation is seeing birthday cards for 103 year olds.
My mother's father is still alive.

I do not have any living grandparents, but my DH's grandfather is still alive. He turned 91 last month, and he has a great relationship with my LO.

All my grandparents are alive but my grandpa on my moms side. I also still have a great grandma alive. However, my mom got started young having kids so allmy grandparents are quite young

I have my grandparents on my fathers side.
My grandma died young from emphysema/black lung from smoking for 40+ years. I never knew my bio-grandpa, and my step-grandpa is still alive but wants nothing to do with us.

I have 2 grandmothers and DH has one grandmother still alive. All of the grandfathers passed away before their wives.

All of my bio Grandparents (3, my bio Dad doesnt/never knew his father, so ??) and some step-Grandparents (4) are still alive.
DH has 3/4.My Great-Grandmother is still alive (and well!) too! With LO we have 5 generations in one part of my fam!

Yes, all 4. 3 are in their 80's and one of my grandfathers turns 95 this year (I think, lost count!) DH has his 2 maternal grandparents.

Both maternal grandparents and my paternal grandmother, and DH has his maternal grandmother (whom I'm fairly sure will outlive us all).

Nope. They had all passed by the time I was in 6th grade. Sad.
