By "nearby" I mean within an hour of your home?

We live two blocks away from the in laws (and every single cousin, grandparent, aunt, and uncle on DHs side), and 15 minutes from my parents.

10 minutes by car from my mom and dad. It's been a blessing to have them so close.

My parents live 20 minutes away. Both of our extended families live in the same county. DH's parents live 45 minutes away in the next county.

No I hate it. One of my mom's sisters is a 4 hour drive away. Everyone else on both sides is a plane ride away.

We are blocks away from MIL, a mile away from one BIL and FIL. Another BIL and his family live 10 minutes away. My family isn't nearby...

My ILs are about 15 minutes away now.

Technically we live IN my moms house! She is currently "living" at "the home" which is one street over. Thankfully her & DH have a wonderful relationship b/c in ~ a year we'll live NEXT door to her! My grandparents, IL, and most of our extended family all lives within 20 minutes of where we are.
My dad & sister live 2 hours away

My parents live an 8 hour drive away. DH's mom lives an 9 hour drive away. DH's dad lives in Hawaii, so that's a plane ride away.

My husbands immediate family but that is all.

My parents live less than 5 minutes away from us, and my in-laws are 25 minutes away.

my parents live a 10-minute drive away. it has been very nice to have them nearby. we seem them about once or twice a month, and it's a joy watching them with LO. hope to also take advantage of their babysitting offers more in the future!

We live 2 doors down from DH's parents. ...... His brothers live about 15 mins away. (Well one is a few hours away.)
Meanwhile, all my family is in on the east coast of the US, except my folks who are in a whole other country in the Caribbean. ::sigh::I will admit, sometimes I feel a little resentful that DH's fam. is so close, and mine are not.

Inlaws are in the same city. I wish it were my parents though!

We live next door to my parents and about 3 hours away.

My parents are 3 1/2 to 4 hours away, sister is 4 hours away, in laws are 10-12 hour drive or plane ride!

Nope! My family lives in a different state (3 hours), and my in laws live 1.5 hours away.

Most my family lives at least less than an hour away.. with my in laws living ONE mile away

My parents are 6.5 hours or a 50 minute plane ride away. ILs live 5 minutes away. I wish they could switch!

Immediate family (parents & siblings) are all close by. Extended family all live far away.

My family is a flight or a 14 hour car trip away but the in-laws are 10 mins away. I wish it were the opposite though!!!

Yes, but it's DH's family, not mine.
We live 2 miles away from DH's parents. His Sis and her hubby live 0.4 miles from his parents!

Our closest family is my parents who live about 4.5 hours away.

Yes, luckily my MIL is about 10 minutes away and my parents less than an hour. They both come by at least once a week and are real babysitting lifesavers for us.

My parents are 15 minutes, DH's are 30. My brother and SIL also live 15 minutes away, and my BIL is 2 hours. Not super close, but close enough for visits. My sister is the only OOT one.

all of our family is 2-3 hours away.

Our parents are 10 minutes away, they live in the same neighborhood. My sister is 5 min away and SIL used to be 10-15 min away, now she lives with her parents again.
DH's grandparents/aunts/etc live 15 min away, mine live 30 away.
