Do you have sidewalks in front of your house?

We do now, but we live in a busy suburban area.
We are in the process of looking to find a new house and move and sidewalks aren't a concern. I actually don't think that we'll have them in our next home, because we are looking in a more rural area.
If not living on a main, busy road, in a development, or in a downtown area I don't think they are necessary (and you won't find them there either, at least in New England).

@Rainbow Sprinkles: No, but we are on almost an acre and have a REALLY long driveway. Its a pretty quiet street that is wide and flat. Plenty of people just walk along the side.

I think in this day in age, sadly even with sidewalks I wouldn't let me kids ride out of my sight. So teaching them how to safely ride on the street and get into the grass if a car is coming isn't that big of deal.

No. It would be a nice perk but not non-negotiable.

Yep, we have sidewalks, but it wouldn't be a non-negotiable.

I was actually thinking about this the other day! we live in a very walkable town with sidewalks (and we walk everywhere) and I'm a runner, so sidewalks are definitely SUPER important to me, unless the roads have a massive shoulder.

No. We live on a cul de sac.

Our street does not. Some streets in our neighborhood do. It really makes no difference to me.

Our neighborhood does not have sidewalks and it is a huge bummer. It was a factor for us when we bought the house but everything else was so good that it wasn't a dealbreaker, but it sucks. If we ever move, DH will probably say it's non-negotiable because he complains about it daily when he walks the dogs, and once I have LO I'm sure I'll really hate it too.

Nope but we have a longer driveway and live on almost 1 acre. Super quiet street and there's a newer neighborhood behind us and I walk on their sidewalk over there. There's also an elementary school and park behind our house too. Doesn't bother me at all.
