I hide the due date boards ... I do it because I feel I have nothing to say... but mostly people that have kids due at the same time probably can create a bond that I could never be a part of if my kid was not actually due that month.

I hide the due date twin boards that aren't related to me.

@septca:
I think I have most of the due date boards and some of the TTC boards hidden...just because they aren't relevant to me at the moment.

Before my BFP, I hid due date and loss boards.
When I got my BFP I un-hid the December 2014 due date board of course. I also hid all the TTC boards, which I feel bad about since I benefited so much from all the support I got on them, but at the time I really just wanted to feel the relief of being done with OPKs and charting and stressing and wondering.
Then when I miscarried, I flipped everything again, and un-hid the loss boards, un-hid the TTC boards, and re-hid the due date board(s).

I hide the due date boards, other than my own and the ones right before and after.

I can't hide anything but I also feel like I wouldn't hide anything I like reading what the community cares about in general.

I briefly hid some of the due date boards in my later months of TTC because I so badly wanted to be able to join them. Now I have nothing hidden. Maybe I'm just nosy, but I really like keeping tabs on how everyone is doing, even if they are at a totally different stage than me or I have nothing to contribute to the board.

Nothing is hidden for me! I just don't click threads I don't want to read!
Eta: I would hide due date boards if I had a m/c or loss, probably. Hugs to all those recovering and grieving.

I have a lot hidden. My favorites to hide are the BFing and weaning and NAPPING threads. OMG...I just can't. I am so glad I'm done with those days of living a sleepless hell with engorged breasts:)
I also hide due date and "announcement" threads.

Nope, I'm nosy! I lurk due date threads because I hope to be on one someday. I like ttc boards, bc that's where I'm at. I follow some of the bees going through IF, and am rooting for them. I've found a lot of interesting stuff on these boards!

I lurk them all! creeper status.
edit: I don't really go out of my way to read due date boards unless I am pretty bored, but I don't like to hide them cause I like to creep on and congratulate when new babies are born!

I like looking at the due date boards every now and then b/c there are sometimes bump or nursery pictures. Those are fun to see!

I hide due date boards that aren't near my DD's birth as they tend to clog up the front page. If I want to go read, I'll check them out but I don't need them on the front page.

I've never thought of doing this. I might for the month before and after I was due- it's hard to see those. (I was due on the first, so it could have gone either way).
