Since she started walking, we have marked off our daughter's height on the wall to her closet every 6 months. It's amazing to see how high the marks have gotten! I'm going to be sad when we have to paint over that to sell the house someday!

No but I'm going to start at 18 months. I thinks I'll just do the old fashioned mark on the door frame in her closet.

Yes! We have one of the ones that looks like a giant ruler and we mark down both boys heights whenever they have a doctor appt. I love it!

yes - its huge and in the basement - its a big vinyl tree and says watch me grow

We have a big wooden ruler type one in our hallway to our bedrooms. Kids get marked each birthday and it's so amazing to have!

I don't think this is our forever house so I have been looking at getting one of the giant rules to mark DS's height. He JUST started standing on his own so I need to get on that. I think the every 6 months is a good goal.

I did a post about this awhile ago but I make quilted growth charts and give them as new baby gifts. they're fairly easy to put together if you sew. Each "square" is 1" approx so I just use what we get at the dr appt to fill in the inches and date.

I have the most adorable one......that is hung.....but I have yet to actually mark it. I really need to do that.

Yep. I have a space themed one for DS that has rocket birthday stickers, so we get to add a new sticker every year, it's fun! I wanted something similar for DD but couldn't find anything I liked. But I discovered Tall Tape and got one for each of them. I would like to be able to hang it on the wall but I can't, so we just unroll it on their birthdays and add a new mark.
