Yes, and I have needed them before. My dad always kept our cars stocked, so I do the same thing.

Yes, I have an emergency kit in my car. Not that I would know what to do either but I also have AAA. I decided to get an emergency kit just in case after having the LO.

I did until just recently when we moved it to DH's car because he's the one to come start my car usually.

Yep! They are part of my emergency kit. I have used them for helping other people a few times, haven't needed to use them on my own car.

I used to, but not sure where the hubby stashed them when he used it last. Going home and putting it in my car tonight!

Yup, it's actually a machine that allows you to jump your car without another car around. Super helpful when we come back from a long weekend, I accidentally left my inside lights on and my husband has already left for work.

Yes! I've had jumper cables in every vehicle I've ever driven. When I was 15 and just started driving I drove my dad's really old truck that needed jumped pretty frequently. I got really, really good and jumping a vehicle. I still carry them in my car even though what I drive now is way more reliable. I also carry things like a tire pressure gauge and a kit with bottled water and some cracker/granola bar type food in case I get stranded.

I do... I know how to use them, too. Well, I forgot once (when I needed them recently), so I just looked it up on my smart phone.
