Do you worry about radiation from your cell phone harming your unborn baby? Does it cause you to keep your phone away from your belly? I've read a couple of articles about it and am just wondering what everyone's else thinks.

but i was getting annoyed today trying to write my paper, because I couldn't see the screen but didn't want to keep my laptop on my belly, because of the heat.

I don't usually have my phone near my belly so it wasn't an issue!

@chopsuey119: when I text or go on the on my phone, it's where I normally rest it! Now I put a pillow between belly and phone.

yes. I dont like holding the phone near my head and I dont hold it near my belly. DH also doesnt like it if my phone is near my belly.

No, I don't worry about this at all. But I don't think my phone is ever really that near my belly anyway. If it turns out that cell phones are harmful enough to harm fetuses through uterine lining and everything else, we're all probably screwed anyway. ;-/

man, it seems like there are just a million things to worry about during pregnancy these days. I am trying to limit my sense of paranoia. -
Yeah I stopped carrying it in my pocket when I got pregnant - just in case- and the habit is fairly set in me now.

I never even though about it til my husband brought it up around 7 mos along that I was going to give our son a brain tumor lol!! So then I was super conscious, even though I wasn't worried about it.
