Until now I hadn't smoked since I was a teenager.
I'm so super stressed about work that I've been smoking here and there, ugh

My Mom and Step-Dad still smoke really heavily. And I have several friends who do socially (which I have been known to do in the past, too even though I know how bad it is).

My in laws do (MIL, FIL, and BIL)

    DH dips chewing tobacco.

I am not bothered by it deeply, but ive been around smokers my whole life. I have my own vices, so I try not to judge, but of course wish they could find strength to quit. I think nicotene is one of the most addictive of all drugs.

My husband will smoke sometimes if he's drinking... but usually in Vegas or something, not like every time he has a beer. I still don't like it though.

I don't smoke. When I went through a tough time a few years ago I remember feeling completely unable to handle things and I found myself trying to smoke. It didn't help and I felt like crap.

My mom and the entire family used to smoke. They quit about a year ago and vape instead. The vapor cigarettes contain nicotine, but none of the other chemicals. You can choose how much nicotine to put in. My mom is slowly weaning herself off of it. I'm really proud of her.

My sister and BIL used to smoke...my sister quit, I think my BIL might still smoke occasionally? I don't know anyone else that smokes. I have never touched a cigarette.

I have never tried it and never will.

My dad is a very heavy smoker and has been my whole life. It has always upset me a lot. He will never quit, even after having a heart attack and other health issues. I worry about him all the time and had nightmares about him dying when I was little.
My sister also smokes, but lies about it and pretends we all don't know (umm, you smell like smoke ALL the time).

DH smoked when we first started dating but successfully quit and hasn't smoked in over 5 years.

I started at 15 and quit around 23. I would still have an occasional one on a night out up until I was pregnant with LO, but since giving birth I've done my best to ignore the temptation (comes with drinking/out with friends who still smoke.) I don't really drink much anymore so that helps. temptation is still there though.

A lot of DH's friends are at least social smokers. He smoked for six years, but it's been eight since we quit. I've never even been interested in trying it.

My Dad and Brother smoke, SIL and her boyfriend just recently quit. DH used to smoke regulary, but quit before I met him. I've been known to smoke while out a bar every now and then, but much less since having LO... which might just be because I hardly ever go out to a bar anymore.

I used to smoke, and it took a long time for quitting to stick. I still crave them sometimes. I gave in and had one with a SIL several months ago and wanted to vomit, so that's good I guess!

My SIL, stepmother, and several friends smoke.

I quit 9 years ago, when I met Hubs and he told me he didn't like it. I quit smoking for him, he quit dipping for me.

Some of his family (aunts, uncles, cousins) still smoke. And some of our friends still do.

I smoked from 16-23. So glad I quit! We don't know anyone who still smokes really. DH quit about 8 years ago. We always joke that when our kids are grown we will move to Paris and take up smoking again but it can't see it happening since I'm one of those ex-smokers who LOATHES! it. Can't stand the smell and it gives me a headache.

I would never. I hate hate hate smoking. My dad smokes, and it stresses me out because I can't ever take DS over there, and I hate that he's endangering not only his health, but my mom's too.

I have some close friends and family members that smoke. They hide it really well. If I didn't spend time at their houses I wouldn't know. They know most people don't want to see it and would judge them. Most did it through pregnancy as well. I'm sure they don't know that I know but they all tattle on each other.

My mother-in-law. I hate it. It gives me so much anxiety when she's around LO, even though she doesn't smoke indoors.

I was a pack a day smoker for 5 years, and quit over 4 years ago.

My FIL and stepMIL smoke. And a friend or two. Most of my friends and previous smokers.

I don't know anyone who smokes anymore. I used to have 1 friend but he quit several years ago. The smell really bothers me so I'm glad that no one I know smokes. It's hard when we travel to other countries and people smoke a lot because I'm not used to thinking about it. When we were in Japan, there were soooo many smokers but I think it's already way better than it used to be. Several restaurants we went to were non-smoking and the areas for smoking in the airport and trains were all separately ventilated. I don't think that was the case before.
