We have a big green egg and love it! Pizza is one of our favorites, my dh swears a frozen tombstone tastes so much better on it! Also brined turkeys are soo good on it as well.

We've done ribs, pork shoulder, sausages, tri tip, brisket, and salmon. All have turned out delicious! (Though the pork shoulder has been my favorite so far!)

@swurlygurl: I hate walmart but they have really inexpensive brisket.

Let me know if you smoke anything good. DH is always looking for new stuff. He makes his own rubs and BBQ sauces

I bought DH one for his first father's day and we love it! It's one that looks like a mini fridge. He makes the best ribs and always makes up his own rub. We've also done pork shoulders, chickens, and turkey breasts. We just bought a brisket that I'm excited for as that's my favorite!

One tip that my brother taught us is that every time you're using the smoker, throw some brats or other sausage in there for a few hours. They're so good and totally transform the sausage!

We have a dream that one day we'll open up a brewery/smoke house. You know, when we win the lottery.

We have an electric (the one that looks like a mini fridge) and a Big Green Egg. We mostly do pork (butt, loin, sausage). But we also use it as a grill and make pork chops, chicken, sausage, steak and it's all amazing. We've also done brisket but it seems to be an art to buying a good brisket around here.
