One of my friends recently admitted that she hates the name she chose for her son (Warren) and wishes she went with her original name (Mason).

Aww. Tell her I like Warren a lot better than Mason! Maybe because my friend named her dog Mason. Anyway.. If she doesn't like it, she should have his name changed..!

We have a friend that changed her daughter's name from Victoria to Anna (pronounced ah nah).

We don't have any regrets, but we do regret not nipping it in the bud when people started calling Cecilia Cee Cee. It's cute but doesn't fit her at all. I went with it for a while but now am pretty firm, it's Cecilia or Lala (as she nicknamed herself).

I love her name but hate the nickname DJ. We have stopped family from using it but hopefully it doesn't stick later

My best friend has told me before that she wishes she "stuck to her guns" when picking a name for her daughter. I wouldn't so she necessarily regrets it though, I don't want to put words in her mouth.
She really wanted to name her Eleanor, but she got a lot of negative feedback. They decided to go with Emmylou, but it ended up turning into first name Emmy, second name Lou (I think again because of all the opinions). Now she just goes by Emmy and I know my friend wishes the name had more "pizazz."
