Just when i thought i escaped the body flip onto the floor meltdown, LO has been doing it on cue every time she doesn't get her way. I can't help it, but i crack up (inside). I find that i don't really get upset when she throws a fit, i just find it funny!!
Anyone else?

Yes! She's just starting to throw herself onto the floor (she's 14 mo) and we secretly crack up. Also, she'll do this delayed cry where no sound comes out for a few seconds them bam! Waterworks, fit, the whole 9 yards.

My LO is 9 months old and he pouts and holds his hands in gusts and makes a "grumpy" noise when he doesn't get his way.. It's very cute now lol.. I wonder if later it will still make me chuckle

B is 8 months and just started doing the back arching, screaming tantrums when you take away a toy or make him do something he doesn't want to do. I think it's hilarious now, ask me again in a few months though.

Sometimes her grumpy face is pretty cute and she throws herself on the floor grunting and kicking and then sits back up and tries to decide if she still wants to be mad or not. Crazy child.

yes, i think it's funny, although LO is only starting to do this so we haven't gotten to the point where it's really disruptive and frequent. then i'm not sure i'll find it so amusing.

Oh absolutely! DS is 16 months and does NOT like being told no....the horror. Most of the time I can hide my giggles but I remember laughing at him just yesterday because the tantrum was so dramatic and uncalled for.

Yes sometimes, because it will be over the silliest things that the meltdown happens. I do my best to keep my "stern" face and explain how it is uncalled for and then walk away with my smile!
