Blair/Blaire
I really like it! How do you spell it though? I feel like I've seen it spelled equally with/without the e at the end.

Blair for a guy; the "e" reminds me of Claire.
I like the name; handsome Blair Underwood makes it easy to have positive conotations with the name.

Yes, it was one of our top three girl names this time (but, we're having another boy)! I actually couldn't decide on a spelling, though. I kinda like the 'e' at the end for a girl, I think.

@lilteacherbee: I really like the e too- I feel it makes it more feminine.
@lovehoneybee: @anonysquire: well I absolutely love Blair Waldorf and wouldn't mind the association
@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I didn't realize it was a man's name as well! I agree on the e making it feminine

For a girl, I'd spell it with the "e" on the end. For a boy, I'd leave it off.

I like it for a girl and without the e. It's really cute. also makes a great middle name!

Thanks to the fabulous Ms Waldorf-Bass I can only see it spelled Blair now

Blair for a boy, Blaire for a girl. I don't like it without the "e" for a girl, but otherwise like it for either gender.

@ValentineMommy: Completely agree.
Blair for a boy, Blaire for a girl. And I like the name for either gender.

@travellingbee: @krispi: Glad I'm not the only one who remembers the girls from Eastland School. I have no idea who these other Blairs are!

My (female) cousin Blair was named after Blair from The Facts of Life.
I kind of like it for a boy.

Blair is the girl spelling to me and Blaire is for a boy.
I don't associate it with Gossip Girl even through I read all the books and watched a little of the TV show. I love the name in general.

@Mrs. Pen: My name was supposed to be Blair
(popular in the 80's). My mom said that was the name they had picked out for me, boy or girl the entire pregnancy. Then when I came out they changed their minds and went with something else.
But yes, I spell it Blair. I voted Meh, but I do think it's a pretty name.

I love the name! And like PPs, I thought of Gossip Girl (and Facts of Life second).
I prefer without the E, but either way works... just no random Xs or Ys in the spelling.
