We will be living sooo close to MIL...a block and a half away. She can drive me crazy at times but I think it will be nice to live close to a relative!

My in-laws live less than 2 miles away, so yes, within walking distance. We still don't see them too often though, maybe every few weeks.

We grew up across the street from my mom's parents. I loved it, we always had family dinners on the weekends.

It takes about 20 minutes to walk to my parent's house and the drive is much shorter. I like the convenience.

nope. A 15-20 min drive to my parents, and 24 hour drive to ILs haha!

We are about a block from FIL. It's nice being close, and fortunately because of his age (86) he never drops by unannounced. We go see him at least once a week.

Thank goodness no!! FIL is about an hour away. My parents are over 8 hours away. MIL is a 5hr plane ride away. I quite like it that way.

No, thankfully! I could deal with my parents that close but the IL would drive me CRAZY to be that close. I couldn't handle being in the same town, 4 hours is close enough.

No. Nope. Never! Well, we would live within walking distance of my parents if we could afford to, they wouldn't bother us. I'd totally buy in the area ILs live if they didn't live there! Haha. It's a great location, but mil would just show up, and that doesn't fly with me. We live within a 15 minute drive of both though.
