Since I've been requested to provide poo samples, I've been thinking about my poo today. I just about never look. I flush it down IMMEDIATELY. Do you like to look and check things out?
You'd think I'd be used to poo from changing diapers but that still doesn't mean I want anything to do with my own.

TMI alert: I'm SUPER constipated - have been my whole life. Up until I was in HIGH SCHOOL my mom would applaud me if I did a #2 as it was a very rare occurance. Anyway, so yes, everytime I do a #2, I always check because I actually get concerned about my poos.

Yep I have IBS and always look.
Also - now that I am pregnant I get super freaked out there will be something else in the toilet .. I think ive watched to many 'I didnt know I was pregnant' shows.

I always look. I have pretty bad IBS and have had a couple of ulcers so I need to keep an eye on things and make sure nothing looks out of sorts (blood in my poo, etc).

So remember my post about pooing during labor, and how I'm weird about poo? Well the result of that is (TMI! But I'm sure a lot of you ladies who are preggo/have a baby will understand) hemorrhoids. I'll hold it so long if somebody is there.... I've gone a week in a hotel room with an ex because I was too embarrassed to ask him to leave. So I always look... I want to know if my hemorrhoids are acting up!

I'm giggling reading this b/c really, who hasn't at some point checked it out, right? But regardless, once you're potty training a 2.5 yr old, EVERYONE in the house is subjected to poo observations!!

ummm, sometimes. Total TMI, but that's how I found out that combining two medicines was giving me bathroom issues (metformin and prenatals). One would vacate my system before being absorbed and I wouldn't have known if I hadn't looked.

I have really bad IBS so I always check mine as well. Especially if it seems "normal" lol
