I don't!

I love my job right now! It's short term, so it'll be over at the end of the summer, but I'm enjoying it in the meantime. It's nice to have something fun after the last super crappy job I had.

Yes! I totally take on too much and am a horrible procrastinator, but I really love what I do! My favorite thing is that there is always more to learn and ways to grow, it never gets boring.

Nope. It's stressful and emotionally frazzling and I come home some nights wanting to cry (and some nights I do).

@lawbee11: why I am staying. They work/understand my solo parenting too much to leave.

No. When I got into the nonprofit world, I thought I would be changing things, not catering to the wealthy.

Yes, I love both of my jobs a lot. They're both part-time and super-flexible. My church job is demanding--any ministry position can be--and it's working with kids who are very troubled which can be emotionally taxing, but it's so worth it building relationships with them and the lead pastor who oversees me is amazing. I definitely feel needed and appreciated and get a lot of worth from both jobs. And they allow me to go to school at the same time!

Nope. It's merely something to put me through school. Though it may also afford me many opportunities in the future through building relationships with people who have pull here, so I do the best I can with what I have and I'm grateful for my position!

There are parts of it I do love . . . but it's not for the faint-hearted, that's for sure.

I love my job and it took me quitting a few positions to figure out how to do what I love full time!

I like a lot of my job and its a good work environment in terms of flexibility and good people to work with. I'm hoping as I progress in the role and within the organization I'll get to do more of the things I really enjoy and am passionate about.

Off and on. I'm a bit burnt out I think. But my schedule is amazing, and I have great benefits soooo....

Most of the time, but being a SAHM isn't always easy that's for sure. Still way better than other jobs I've had.

I love my work but hate my job. In looking for something new but know that getting hired while pregnant will be a challenge.

I like my boss, the flexibility the job allows (especially as a parent), and the pay/benefits. I like it a lot (always busy) but not sure if i love my job.

I like it a lot, the actual job and the environment I work in. But would I still do it if I came into a lot of money? No.
pomegranate / 3127 posts
Yes, on so many levels. It's challenging and I work with great people. But omg, the workload... it's burning me out. I just want to be home with mY kid

I like it alot. I just came back from 10 months of mat leave and I like it more than I realise. I like the challenge and the learning and my coworkers (mostly). And I like eating lunch in peace!

I love what I do - yes. I'm not loving it right now though because I've inherited a team who act like a bunch of five year olds! Once I've dealt with the capability issues and the behaviour issues in the team, I will go back to loving my job (hopefully!).

Yes! I'll be so sad when we move next summer. I couldn't ask for a better duty station or better coworkers!

I like what I do, though sometimes I find it stressful and depressing. I strongly dislike my boss and so I don't plan to stay there long term.
cherry / 231 posts
No. But it's the best possible situation for me right now. I'm counting down the days until next summer when I get to be a SAHM- my dream job!

Most days, I do like it a good bit. I've been the project manager for planning our annual conference, which kicks off tomorrow, so it's been more hectic than normal lately. But I know it would be hard to beat the co-workers and the benefits anywhere else. And they're paying for my grad school right now too. I'm an instructional designer, so one thing I like is that there's always something new and different to work on. I thrive on variety.
