I really like my OB and we always make a little small talk at my prenatal visits. I know he has 3 young sons that will be home schooled and he enjoys cycling in his free time.
My last OB was pretty no nonsense and we never chatted at all!

Usually. Especially during a Pap smear cause it distracts me from thinking about what she is doing!

Yep, we usually make some sort of small talk. He always asks how things are going and remembers details; I assume he jots down personal notes after appointments. He and DH went to the same college and ALWAYS talk about college football for a couple of minutes...I think DH likes our OB even more than I do.
