I have like a million friends on my facebook selling those skinny wraps. One friend says she makes 13k a MONTH selling them.

No but I have friends who go through phases of aggressively recruiting people and they usually get mad at me when I tell our mutual friends not to go for it lol. It will only work if one person from a group of friends does it and everyone signs up under that person. But if everyone you know is signed up and trying to sign up other people under them its hard to get anyone else

Ugh, I can't stand the aggressive Facebook desperation selling.
I'd rather work nights/odd hours or find more reliable work in general. No offense to those who use MLM and other types of companies to make a living!

@Arden: my uncle used to sell their products, and I loved them!! My parents used to buy it all the time too, but I think it cost too costly for them. Their products worked great though!

I attended a meeting to be part of one, but once I realized what it entailed, I high tailed out of there! I'm not an extrovert enough to go knocking on doors to every single person and try to convince them to sign up and sale also.

I don't sell anything, but I buy Scentsy.

Back in high school, I sold knives for Cutco. That last a couple months because I suck at sales.

I would never get involved in a MLM company. People try and recruit me all the time because they assume I have nothing to do and I'm pretty social. My BS meter is way sensitive and I thought that stuff was fishy before I even knew what those companies were all about. If a good friend/client is giving a party, most of the time I'll go but I find that the merch is so expensive for mostly crap. I will not sit through a one on one pitch though, no matter who it's for.

Yep, sad to say I got involved in one my sophomore year in college. One of my good friends brought me to a meeting and soon I was hanging out with some others involved in the "company". My parents were concerned so we all went together to the office to meet with one of the higher-ups. It was a really generic office so I wonder if it was just a temporary rental office! Apparently the guy did a decent job selling us because my parents didn't forbid me from participating (though they didn't encourage me at all).

It cost $200 to join and I actually managed to sign up a few people as well, but I never saw a dime!! I dropped out after about 2 months because I hated the weekly meetings and got annoyed at the people.
