I'm working on building a full set of "china" made by a local potter. So far I've got the dinner plates and two sizes of bowls - just need salad plates. I've got one of each color glaze. It's not "fancy" china - but still special and more our speed.

No china--I love our white plates from C&B (they have a pretty white on white pattern)...I have lots of little colored plates I can put on top!
My mom NEVER really used her china, so I never felt compelled, although all y'all's china is gorg!

I received my mothers old country roses set that she got from her mother. It's a big set with tea pot, serving plates, ect but I haven't used it at all yet. It's not my style but I love it.
I also bought myself 4 settings of chirp by lenox which we use about once it twice a month.

@Mrsjets: yes, I love it so much we made it our every day dishes since we were using a random ancient plates from when my IL's were young. It was awesome to switch to a nice set!
This is my fancy set of China:

Nope. We didn't register for china when we got married, because there were a lot of other more practical items that we wanted instead. Five years later, and I can't think of a single occasion that would have actually warranted having china... but there is still a little part of me that wishes we had a set.
