I try to spend the same amount on everyone but its so hard. We have so many people in our family that we really limit our spending but I feel really bad if someone spends more on us than we do on them.

Nope! We spend more on our parents. We spend more on siblings then we do nephews. I spend less on my cousin's children, who are like nephews and nieces, then I do on our real nephews. I don't spend much on my grandma either. Only because I can't ever think of anything to get her cause she doesn't need anything.

We spend about the same on our parents....and about the same on our niece and nephew. It's not the same for everyone, but I try to be somewhat equal.

We budget about $75pp for parents and siblings and about $50pp for nieces and nephews. Its not a rock solid budget though, we went over on DH;s parents by about $40 when we found the right gift.
I've gotten to the point where I dont feel bad that others spend more or less on us than we do. Everyone has different affordability and income, we all do the best we can and it's about family, togetherness and love, not dollar values.

I spend around the same amount on everyone except my husband. I spent a lot more on him.

Nope. We are more concerned with finding the right gift for each person than making sure everything costs the same amount.

We keep the amount consistent between each set of people we buy for kids so that there's no favoritism shown. For parents, no.

This is the first year that we really have the money to be a little more generous at Christmas, buy we have always spent more on immediate family. My side of the family does secret Santa for adults and we all buy for kids, so that really helps things!
