I do! I still have a bunch of boxes of my stuff in their garage too !

No, my youngest sister took it over. It was the coldest room in the house so I'm ok with it! I also have boxes in their garage attic.

Nope, mine have moved a couple times since I moved out.

My brothers turned it into a play room, but they still call it "Angi's Room". Even when they're talking to me. I'll say "Where is William?" and my other brother will say "He's in Angi's Room". When I ask if he means my room he acts like I'm crazy.

PS they're 7 & 8. That sounds kind of odd if you think they're my age.

I do, but it looks more like a storage unit these days. It's stacked with random junk it doesn't even feel like my room anymore, except for the Titanic posters all over the place!

Not really. I'm from a big family and as one sibling moved off to college, the younger one got claims on their room if they wanted. So, when I went to college, they moved my older sister's stuff into my room, so it was shared. Then, it was sort of guest room, then sort of nursery when my nephews were born. I am getting the dresser from my room for our LO though!

Nope. My dad disowned me after I got married, because I chose not to let him walk me down the aisle (he's an abusive psychopath) and he's banned me from their apartment. At least I don't have to see him anymore!

Yes and my mom keeps begging me to come and clean my junk out of the closet.

Yes, my room is still mostly the same with all of my old memorabilia! I should really clean it out sometime... except I would still have to leave everything there because I don't have room for it here in my condo!

No. My parents also downsized after I moved out and their second bedroom is now for their hobbies.
bananas / 9628 posts
they turned my bedroom into a guest room (and the old guest room into a craft/ storage room), so i still have a room to stay in, just doesn't look like it used to =) i also have a whole bunch of stuff in their garage, haha

Nope.. my room is now a guest room that is redecorated. My sisters room is my moms office and my brothers room is my step dads office/still has a small bed in it. crazy!

@Mrs. Polish: lol that's awesome!
Nope- my little sister took it over pretty much the day I moved out. She is 8.

Nope, they renovated my room, so it doesn't even look like mine anymore.
nectarine / 2994 posts
Sort of, it still has my old bed in there but my mum uses it for storage now. I also have other stuff stored away in another room. But if I stay there then I stay in my old room

Sort of? No one took it over but the linens and rug have been switched out and it is now a guest room. My brother's nasty teenage friends always sleep in it haha.

Yes and I have a lot of stuff in there I should probably clean out. They have so much space though that no one seems to mind yet...

Kind of- I've never actually lived in their current house, but my Sister and I still have a designated room each there that is ours.

ha! the DAY i moved out(i was 27) my mom started priming the walls to paint to make it a play room for my nephew!

No, my brother took it over, but then he's moved out, too, now, so all 3 spare bedrooms are guest rooms...so we can sleep there any time we need to...which might happen at the end of the month!

Ha ha, no way. My parents have a 1200 sq ft house and there were still 3 more kids at home when I moved out. My parents wanted my whole room packed and ready to go well before I was moving. The day I moved out, my little brothers moved in.

My room was converted into a guest room, so I can still sleep in there but it doesn't have my personality on it.
I still have a doll closet at my mom's house. The closet is an extra linen closet filled with Collector Barbies and my favorite dolls including Addy snd Samantha plus their accessories.

Yup. My parent's house is huge so both my brother and I still have our rooms there.
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
I do, but I never stay in it--my brother's room is now the main guest bedroom because his room has a full size bed and mine has a queen. none of his stuff though is in the room, and most my stuff has mostly been relegated to boxes so it's not really "mine" at all anymore, except that it used to be! my parents rented the house out for a year while I was in college, so all the personal stuff was already moved. My parents are going to be moving for good in about a year though so then they'll only have a generic guest room, not mine or my brother's.

Noope. They downsized pretty soon after I left for college and gave my sister all my furniture, so I haven't had anywhere to stay at my mom's for ages (not that I'd want to lol, we always stay at hotels when we visit her for escape purposes). My dad, however (they got divorced this year) keeps a guest room set up for my sisters and I, which I think is really sweet.
bananas / 9899 posts
Nope. When I visit I sleep in the attic room, which is kind of a crummy room. My parents rent out all the other rooms to students.
