Working parents, do you take the day off to be with your LO on their bday?

My son's first bday falls on a Friday (and I work Fridays). We'll celebrate his bday as a family on the weekend and they have a party for him at daycare, so I don't plan to take the day off. Maybe pick him up a little early though : )
