I don't.
I'll text or hello bee at lights though!

I don't text and drive. It scares me when others do it!

Nope, this was my New Years Resolution. I leave my phone in my purse, if someone calls me I have the Sync system so it is handsfree. I caught myself texting/facebooking last year when driving...totally dangerous so I stopped all together!!

It is illegal in California.
I do it at stops and lights too though. In California :-O !

I totally will do it at long red lights only. The law here in TX just changed to no texting unless you're at a red light, so I'm good!
I used to text all the time while driving though before they passed the law and I was fairly safe about it. Only when there were no cars around me on the highway. But now that I can't do that, I realized there's no rush to text someone. If I *really* have to, I'll use my voice-to-text. I don't miss it!

I dont. Unless I am stopped. Even then I dont like to. The only thing I SOMETIMES will text is to my husband or whoever is "OMW" (on my way). But usually like to send that before I actually start driving.

I used to be totally guilty of this! I got a new car a few years back and stopped texting while driving! Sometime I will read a message but wait to text back. I always tell myself it can wait and it's not worth the risk! I have a manual so I don't talk on my phone either, it proves to be difficult sometimes! I try not to text at lights either because I always get behind people that do and they don't go when the light turns green!

I don't text while driving, but like you, totally text at lights!

It's illegal here to talk on your phone while driving, unless using hands free, let alone text. How on earth can you concentrate on driving when you are texting??! It's just insane and really frightening when you think of the damage you can do with a car at any speed. The text message is that important to risk your - and other people's- lives?

It's illegal here! $155 fine. I never did, though. It scares me when I see people do it...You can always tell who's on their phone - they drive slower and swervy.

I don't. I'll use siri to make calls. My husband used to text/browse web when he was at stop lights at such. I used to get so annoyed at him for that. I just pull over if I must text/look up something.

No way. I have a feeling hubby does... I get so mad at him when he's on his phone while driving!

Nope, I have the in-car stereo plug in thing, so I just call someone if it's urgent, and if not, text them when I'm not driving.

I only do it at red lights. I do wish I had the iPhone 4s with Siri. I have the 4 now. I need to wait a little while to get the 4s or maybe the 5 when it comes out.

In MA, texting and driving is a violation!
But, I occasionally do it at red lights.

Also illegal here in Delaware, but I catch people on their cell phones all the time. It irks me. Ever since watching Seven Pounds, I am very against the use of cell phones in the car. I used to text at stop lights, but I realized that if it's really important I should just stop somewhere and call that person instead.

I'm also guilty of doing it at red lights. Not always, just when there is something that needs to be answered quickly.

Never. That crap can wait. Even though it is against the law, I see so many people texting while driving here and it annoys me. Drivers here are horrible enough as it is without being distracted by a cell phone.

Guilty but only when stopped. I know it is so bad. Must stop!

It's illegal to do it here. I have done it a couple of times with siri but I try really hard to just leave it in my bag & have the bluetooth on for phone calls.

I feel like an awful person after reading all of these responses, but I have been guilty of texting and driving

@JustlikeHeaven: from cali here too and do the same! I keep it low in my lap though just in case there's a cop lurking around...

Seriously. An accident can happen in a split second! Not worth the risk--especially since we always have LO in the car with us!

Using your phone and driving are illegal in Ontario, but I admit that SOMETIMES I will check my texts while I'm driving. I find it really hard to text on my iPhone while I'm driving, so that keeps me from being dangerous. I have a friend who texts and drives with her baby in the car, and I think that's crazy.

It is illegal here, and I don't do it. DH gets so mad when he sees people doing it he confronts them and usually reports them to the police. If you leave a written statement that you saw someone texting and driving they will fine them up to $400 per offence.

I don't drive a lot, but I don't even think about my phone when I am driving. It stays in my purse and all calls and texts can wait until I am in a parking lot or at my destination. I have enough to worry about when driving, especially watching out for everyone else who is driving while using their phone in any capacity.

I don't think it's illegal here, and I do it at stops. Also just installed bluetooth between my car and phone so I can dial by voice (for calls). Now to figure out how to text by voice!

Also, when I'm with my husband, I'll text for him, or he'll text for me (the passenger texts).
