It's harder. I feel like it's getting harder as LO gets older..
So easy when they're babies and have no idea what's going on! -
I think easier. It seemed like there was so much to it before I had LO. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely challenges, but I feel very much in my element, like I was always meant to be a mom.

Hmm, I think it comes more naturally than I thought it would, but it's definitely hard... and I agree w/@Chopsuey119 that it gets harder as LO gets older!

@Baby Boy Mom: i feel the same way you do. even though i have my moments where i want to pull my hair out, i feel like things are easier than i expected. when i find my groove, i definitely feel like i'm in my element. of course, if you asked me this 4 months ago, i would've looked at you zombified.

Easier. I was so paranoid that I was going to be a terrible mom and scar her for life. I think parenting is a lot more instinctual than I thought it would be.

@chopsuey119: I'm kind of the opposite... struggled when they were babies, but am finding it a lot easier as they get older!

It's probably harder than I thought but in ways that I didn't anticipate/understand prior to becoming a parent.

@mrbee: I mean harder as in.. Having to discipline, making sure to instill good values and morals, more responsibility..! Ahhhh

Much harder. I think I had a romanticized version of mommyhood before LO and I always said I was born to be a mom. Once LO was born, it definitely wasn't all puppies and rainbows (and it still isn't!) and I think it was in large part due to his temperament.
If you've got an easier baby then parenthood is most likely easier than you thought it'd be. If your baby is spirited like mine, then it's probably more challenging!
