The cleaning service I use is 2 people for 2 hours, and it's $40 an hour, so $80 total. I don't pay the people they send, I pay "The Man" in the office who runs the show, and he has my credit card on file. At first, I would call The Man when the cleaners were finished, and instructed him to add an extra $20 for tip and I didn't mind because I thought they did such a great job....But then they started sending people who did a good job, but I noticed not as great of a job as the original people sent. Soooo, I just let The Man run my credit card the past few times, and I didn't call him to tell him to add anything. He didn't call me either. The cleaning people left, and the next day my card got charged for $80.
Do you tip each time? Is yours set up this way- where you don't even pay the people that come but you pay "The Man" in the office?
They have sent different people each time so I guess I felt less bad about not tipping since I haven't even established a repetitive repoire with any of them?
