I'm trying to figure out what to wear tomorrow to my OB appt.
They'll be weighing me, so I wanna wear the lightest articles I clothing and shoes possible!
Every ounce counts!

At my first appointment I didn't realize they were going to weigh me, and I was wearing leggings, a long sleeve tee and a cardigan. I took off my boots. Since then, I try to wear something similar every time, and I always take off my shoes.

Omg haha, yes!! They usually let me undress first but one time they didnt and now i think about what to wear beforehand in case it happens again! Haha!

I always took off my shoes before getting on the scale! So it was always slip on shoes... of course towards the end that's all that fit anyway.

Haha! It was always a joke with the nurse that I was going to take the scale in the bathroom and strip down to weigh myself!! With my second, they knew me so well and stuff that they let me weigh myself at home in the morning and just tell them what it was (plus I have the same scale as them)

Wear the heavy stuff early on!
My ob didn't weigh me at all, he just went off the ultrasound measurements at each visit

I always remove my shoes and whatever wrap I happen to be wearing. I always joke with the nurses that it's exactly like going to Weight Watchers. My mom and I used to go on Saturday mornings to our meetings and we made sure we were dressed lightly and nothing to eat or drink til after we weighed in. We were hardcore! Now the nurses say to me, "Oh it's ok to gain weight..." Hmmm.

I thought colors! I see what you're saying though! I usually take off my jeans/belt and shoes to be weighed.

I didn't even think about it. At this point, nothing helps, I'm still 40lbs heavier and counting... Hahaha.

Yes! Clothes definitely impact your weight! ...and there were times where I accidentally gained too much weight!

I thought you meant color, too!
And yes, I do try to wear something lighter weight but also easy to take off/put back on whenever I go to the obgyn or my primary physician. I also don't put on as much jewelry!

I woke light clothes and always took my shoes off before stepping on the scale.

We weighed ourselves. I always wore a skirt so I could easily lift it up instead of taking everything off.

I don't think about what I wear but I do always take my shoes off! But I started getting on the scale backwards so I don't see the number anyway, my midwife suggested it so I wouldn't freak out as much at weight gain that is still in the healthy range like I had been doing.

I do. My appointments have been Fridays, which are casual (jean) days at work but I think jeans are heavy so I'll wear khaki pants instead with slip-off shoes. I don't think it has really made a difference, but I still do it.
I was excited for my morning appt so I could get the weigh in done before my day really started!

I always drink water all day and then cut myself off a couple hours before the appointment. EXACTLY what I used to do before Weight Watchers! Oh, and you know, I try to go to the bathroom!

I do this too! I usually wear a light dress or pants with a tank top/sweater and I always take off my shoes
