If so, which one? I've never used it before, but wonder if it really prevents smudging and running of eye make-up.
Any recommendations are appreciated.

I use the MAC one. I generally don't use it for work, but I use it when I'm going out on special occasions! That crap is expensive!

Not everyday. Only for special occasions. I do wear a very subtle eyeshadow everyday.

I do when I know i'm going to be wearing makeup for a long period of time, sweating/dancing or on special occasions. I use the Urban Decay Primer Potion.

I actually just put a teeny bit of my foundation on my eyelids, it's cheap and it works!

I sometimes use the Urban Decay Primer Potion, but only on days when I have something (meetings, events) later on in the day. If I only need to look presentable for a few hours, I don't bother, haha.

I use Urban Decay Primer Potion every time I wear eye shadow (which isn't every day) because otherwise my eyelids are crease city. The UD stuff is magical (but expensive) though!

Yes, and it helps alot to keep the make up in place, shine down. I use one that an Ulta stylist recommended- SMASHBOX Photo Finish Lid Primer.

I use the Urban Decay stuff as well. I have it in the "Sin" shade, so it's a subtle bronze-y color. I love it and will sometimes just wear it as my "eyeshadow." I guess it's kiiiind of pricey, but it lasts for-ev-er, so it really isn't bad.

Urban decay here too. I have oily eyelids that crease in an hour without it. This stuff is awesome!!

I use Urban Decay as well. If I don't, by the end of the day, I have icky creases in my eye shadow.

I do. Every day!
I use a shimmery MAC paint pot. It is called bare something or other.

thanks for everyone's input. I'm probably gonna try it out when I go out for special occasions.

I love MAC paint pots- I think the one I have is called painterly. It's pretty even on its own - helps to brighten up my eyes when I don't feel like wearing shadows.

Urban decay primer potion! You will definitely be able to tell the difference between using one and not using one.

Benefit Lemon Aid. I apply it with a bare minerals concealer brush, because it's what I have on hand, and it works better than my fingertip. The $28 compact lasts me two years! I have fair skin and red veiny eyelids, so even if I just use that, do my brows and apply mascara, I don't look like I've given up. I just got the urban decay naked 2 palette, and the lemon aid is great under these shadows, no creasing at all.

Throwing in my vote for Mac paint pots. Love them! My eyeshadow stays on forever when I use it.

I do - it helps with my eyeliner. And when I use eyeshadow, it goes on so much easier. I use the Sephora brand.

Yep, I have really greasy lids and I use Urban Decay primer potion.

I used Benefit's, not sure what it is called. It worked really well, but my complaint is that it's in a pump tube, and it dispenses way more than I need. I wouldn't buy it again just for that reason.
