Lately at the stores I've been hearing a lot of parents say to their child "santa doesnt like that" or similar comments and it seems to do the trick. Do you use santa to control your kids? I just wonder what happens when christmas is over though

I haven't done that yet and I don't think I will. I don't give her presents from Santa anyway.
I use other things like "You're going to go straight to bed without any stories" to keep her in line.

No, I don't like the idea of making their behavior dependent on gifts. In fact, that really creeps me out. I'm not a big santa person anyway.
