We tried to be team green with LO1 but that surprise slipped up, with LO2 for some reason I just HAD to know. I think it would be really cool to be team green but we are done having kids so I won't get that experience now. If I could go back I would have probably went the team green route with #2.

I really wanted to be with our first! But my partner had a major preference for a boy and wanted to find out in case he had to "get used" to having a girl. I know he would have loved either one, but it irritated me that he had such an opinion. Now when we have a second, he reeeeally wants a girl and said he'll be disappointed if we have another boy! I decided next time (whenever that may be... not soon!) I plan to insist we'll be surprised.

I don't know if I would/could for a second baby, and I don't know if we'll have one but for our son, I loved falling in love with him, his name, coming up with his middle name, to honor my dad, imaging being a 'boy' mom, all while I was pregnant and had all the time in the world to daydream and prepare for a little boy. -
No way! We really wanted to know! Plus, knowing what we were having brought us "closer" to the baby and knew what to plan for as far as clothes and names go.

I loved being team green the first time. We might find out next time though. I think it's a surprise no matter when you find out, and it would be fun to see what team pink or team blue feels like!

No, I really enjoyed knowing! It was so exciting and helped me get through the tough final weeks. The birth was exciting enough without that particular surprise.

We were team green for our first and found out for the second. I kinda wish we had waited. It's not so much the surprise, but I just enjoyed all the speculation.

No! It would be fun but is not for me. I enjoy the process of getting to know a little about the baby after finding out their gender like @rachiecakes: mentioned. It was a really special time for me with both pregnancies. We won't be TG for any future children.

I wanted to be surprised by the first but we thought we found out accidentally at the anatomy scan that it was a boy. We did a mini-gender reveal (opened our envelope at Thanksgiving with in laws) and we had been wrong. I was disappointed that we found out until LO was born.
On the night she was born I was so tired from a long somewhat difficult labor that I couldn't have cared less what sex LO was. Meeting LO was already mind blowing enough. I wouldn't have been able to process the sex of the baby too. I considered team green for LO2 but the thought of finding out after difficult labor again turned me off.

Nope, I really had trouble bonding with LO during my pregnancy, and knowing the sex helped with that a bit.

Well I was TG with E, and never regretted it, but I sort of think I want to find out earlier with #2. I think I'd really miss that moment in the delivery room, but I also sort of think I want more time to process any potential gender disappointment if it's a boy. Plus, if it was a girl I'd really really want to buy girl things beforehand (and so would all of our family!)

Nope, team green would be zero fun for me while pregnant and isn't fun for me when when friends do it either
I love knowing what to expect, planning and shopping!

No way. I loved knowing the first moment I could. It also took some processing that I was going to be a boy mom.

No way. Ditto that knowing the sex, and being able to pick a name and use it to refer to her, has helped me a lot with bonding with her, and imagining her as an actual person instead of just a bunch of weird movements in my stomach.

Never! I see it as a nice surprise whether I find out at 20 and 40 weeks. And I like to plan and know!

Nope! We were team green for a while, but I felt myself struggling to emotionally connect with the baby and it was starting to bother me so we found out and am glad that knowing and imagining my son helped me connect more with being pregnant. I think though for the next we will not find out.

No way! It made it so much more real to find out that we are going to the parents of a daughter and I had so much fun coming up with girl names and buying girly stuff and just being excited about having a little girl. I honestly cannot imagine not finding out!

No but for a long time I really wanted to be TG with #2. But now that we are expecting #2 we want to find out, lol. Our kids will be room sharing, for one, and it has been a rough pregnancy so far (10w) and I just want to have a "fun" thing to look forward to.

No, it's just not my nature. I like to know things as soon as I can know. It helps me prepare.
