My parents don't ask and don't really like suggestions. My MIL usually tells me what she has in mind....toy vaccum and dollhouse this year! My FIL is a big fan of cards and cash!
My BIL, SIL and brother always ask for ideas and wish lists.

My family have always sent wish lists to each other for holidays/birthdays, so I included Xander's wish list for this year!
And so far my SIL has asked what Xander wants and my SMIL and FIL have told me what they are getting (they ran it by us first). I haven't heard from MIL, but she's never asked what we've wanted before, so I'm guessing she probably won't ask for Xander.

Yep! My family sends wish lists for Christmas. So I will just add R to our list. I am just telling DH's family a couple ideas. Cause I see how much they buy the nephews, too much and most of it is crap they will use once and never use again.

my parents have a good idea of the things she has and likes, they see her often!
i give my grandparents tips and ideas, because they really want to get her the thing she needs or wants.

My sisters ask for suggestions, and it's easy enough to send them the link to LO's amazon wish list. My parents give cash, and my in-law's buy random things without asking.

My mum asked me for some suggestions and then bought every single thing on the list!
My inlaws will choose for themselves and they've said that they will keep any toys they buy for her at their house so she has toys to play with when she is there. I think that's a really good idea and it means that I can continue shopping for play things for here!!

YES! I usually say he likes sports, cats, etc. but this year I'm going to be pretty specific, haha
I went totally overboard buying things for him for birthday and Christmas. I'm going to give them some of my list.
