I have to say, I'm pretty surprised that many people here love McDonalds so much. I don't know many people that will go there and order something other than a salad, and they think I'm gross and extremely unhealthy for getting my mc nuggets. Hubby is not one of those people, thank goodness!

I never eat at McD's (or any fast food, really) unless we're traveling. When we're on the road or in airports I'll have a sausage egg mcmuffin and hash brown, but I never eat non-breakfast foods there aside from the occasional french fry. I don't think I've had a burger or chicken mcnugget from McD's in over 15 years!

I have friends who won't go there, but some that still will. And my hubs and I love McDonald's! He loves the Big Mac and I love the Double Cheeseburgers - yum!
If I'm trying to be "less unhealthy" I'll get a Happy Meal though.

My family doesn't really eat at McDonald's, and only some of my friends do. Most people I know don't eat there regularly, but once in a while in the airport or while traveling. Or when craving the fries or a McFlurry.

My family eats it. I do too. We cook really healthy at home but don't see anything wrong with eating fast food in moderation.

I don't mind McDonald's either. I don't eat it everyday but sometimes I will crave their food. I love their fries, nuggets and some of their sandwiches. I do usually hide it when I eat. Maybe I'm a bit embarrassed by eating it. But I will continue to eat it though. It's like a guilty pleasure.

Yes, lots of people that I know including myself eat mcdonalds. I dont go too often so when I do I do it right, I could never go there and get a salad lol.

I hardly ever eat there. The main reason is that I'm vegetarian so there really aren't any options for me. I don't really like their salads so that leaves pretty much nothing. DH will eat there every once in a while, like on a road trip or something. My parents don't ever eat fast food.

I can't say that I know of anyone that hates it. For a long time I did because I got food poisoning from it. After years of not eating it, I crawled back, I couldn't stay away for all the deliciousness!

I think the majority of people I know would rarely ever eat it. I mainly find myself eating it if I'm traveling and that is the only option. Otherwise I don't really think of going there or any other fast food place.

McNuggets helped me through some bad first trimester days, which I thought was so weird because before then, I hardly ever ate fast food. I probably ate more fast food in my first trimester than in the previous 2 years combined.
Sometimes I get a craving for McDonald’s French fries or a Wendy’s Jr. Bacon cheeseburger, but I try not to eat fast food because it isn’t really that cheap, and I always feel so gross and crappy after from the content/chemicals in the food.
ETA: I always eyeroll when people talk about ordering salads at fast food joints – the Caesar Salad with chicken, the Southwest Salad with chicken, the Asian salad with chicken and the bacon, ranch and chicken salad at McDonalds all have more calories and than a BIG MAC. So just remind your friends of this if they give you a hard time!

My hubby loves it and has it like once a week for lunch, while I prefer we get seomething else if we are going to get fast food. You can't beat the fries though!

Most people I know are like me and only eat it when traveling. I only eat the McNuggets and Fries. The only eat it while traveling is best for me because I really love their fries and I would have a hard time controlling myself if I didn't have a strict rule : )

I only eat it while traveling and it's usually a last resort. I don't know... there's just something about that meat that makes me feel icky.
It's not really about the health stuff (I mean, in terms of fat and calories, that is) since I am happy to indulge that way. It's more about the quality of the food, if that makes sense.

DH loves McDonalds. Loves it. I like it every so often - if we are on the road or traveling somewhere. I would never *just* get it for dinner or something. DH would though. I bet he eats it like once a month.
I usually get McNuggets and fries or a single hamburger and fries. And then am hungry about 1.5 hours later. Seriously it doesn't stick with me!
I think most people I know like it....but don't eat it because of the calories!

I bounce from one extreme to the other, I go through phases where McDonalds disgusts me and then phases where I cant live without their shakes. When I was a teenager a lot of friends worked there so we would take advantage of the employee discount and always eat there. I avoided the place for years and now I am back to eating there once a while.

It's a last resort when travelling. I haven't eaten there for years. I find it yuck and don't get why I would eat that instead of sushi or at a pinch subway.

I'm on the McDonald's is gross train. My dad loves it and would always make us stop there growing up when we were on long car trips. I always felt carsick after eating it and one of my little sisters threw up a couple times after eating it. It was a good way to make a long car trip really yucky.
But now that I know the hamburgers and fries won't decompose and until recently were treated with ammonia, the idea of the food makes me feel ill.

Love McDonald's!! Have to applaud their marketing team for turning them around even after Supersize Me. We mostly eat their breakfasts though - usually an egg, sausage mcmuffin once a month. Their coffee is delishhh too.

We eat there occasionally when we're in a hurry, and I almost always get mcnuggets with spicy mustard. The other day I had a crazy craving for a egg and cheese mcmuffin, which I haven't eaten since high school!

I've never seen my in-laws eat fast food! I know they do every once in a great while but I've yet to see it. My parents do but not that often. I do always think it's funny when my mom makes the 3 hour drive to see us here because she always stops for McDonalds breakfast & she is a dietitian! But I guess that's her little treat for herself ;P

I love Mickey-dees as does the rest of my family. We don't go too often, but sometimes (pre-pregnancy), I just craved their fries... and mcflurries... and nuggets...

I still do, but not as often as I used to-- mainly it's for a quick bite-- I tend to stick to either getting a happy meal or maybe a small cheeseburger for myself though-- because usually even then it makes me sick (too much salt maybe?)

Hubs and I go once in a while but I'm not a fan (unless I'm pregnant and crave those big macs) I refuse bringing my son to McDs. He's had some fast food (Wendy) but I can't introduce him to the golden arches.

I only eat it when I have to eat at the hospital. In retrospect, it probably plays into my perception of my local hospitals' competence (the VA hospital and the only civilian hospital that takes Tricare are right next to each other, almost adjoined by the civilian hospital's McDonalds.)

I LOVE their breakfast - Sausage & Egg McMuffin, hashbrowns, OJ. Yum.
And last week I had a McClusterf*ck - a Jr. Chicken stuffed inside a McDouble.

I used to eat it maybe once a year, if that. When I got pregnant, I started craving the mcnuggets in my first trimester, which was really weird since I hadn't touched them since childhood. Now in my 3rd trimester, I occasionally want a cheeseburger, but usually if I do, we just grill at home. My husband, however, LOVES it and before he met me, he ate there weekly. Now he eats there probably once a month unless I get a craving and he has an excuse to go
