My parents still give me money....$20-$50. I exchange gifts (his birthday is 3 days after mine) with my brother if we hang out in person.

Yes and it's a little ridiculous! It's getting harder and harder to buy for everyone and since we have a big family, it feels as though we're always buying gifts for each other. I would much rather just go for a nice dinner instead.

My parents always do. Although the last several years I've actually requested they forgo a regular gift and just go shopping with my mom.
My brother and I still trade $50 gift cards, which I'd sort of like to stop... but I don't know how to do that haha.

Never exchanged gifts with my bro, and my parents still do. They gave me a new flat iron and blow dryer last year! I didn't get one this year, but they told me on my birthday they just needed to pick it up. No bigs because I was UBER spoiled by everyone else this year.

Nope and Nope. Our family was never really big on birthdays (we got gifts as kids and into early adulthood, but once we moved out, we just stopped getting them) or gift giving (We used to not exchange christmas gifts for the adults, only for the kids, but now that we all are financially stable and capable, we starting buying gifts per couple. If there comes a point where one of us can't afford christmas gifts, we would go to a polyanna or ask that we not exchange gifts.) Kinda sad if you don't know us, but it is what it is and it doesn't bother me. We do try to text or send cards when birthdays come up.

Yes, we all do! We all don't do enough for ourselves, so it's our way to get gift cards for each other so that we actually spend some time/money on ourselves.
