My parents and MIL want me to punish(slap her hands, etc) LO for being a messy eater. 
I think 14 months might be too early?!

My parents disciplined us (my dad used to spank us), but they don't like when I raise my voice at my LO -
DS is a mess all of the time. I couldn't imagine punishing him for it!My parents have never suggested I punish the kids more but sometimes they have different rules. I have to remind them that their rules don't matter.
