My parents have the basics of everything the girls need when we go there, so we don't usually need to pack much which is awesome. They have two booster seats, a pack n play, sippy/kids cups, toys and other kid odds and ends like meds, lotion etc. I bring diapers and wipes and leave a good handful there. When the kids were babies they had a high chair, bouncy seat, swing, jumperoo etc and in those early days that was super helpful.

My ILs have everything since they babysit my nephews (who are around the same age) weekly. My dad just has a pack n play, but we visit less than once a year, and my brother brings whatever he needs for his LO.

My parents have everything and I love it! DD is their 9th grandkid so a lot has accumulated over the years. I see them about 2 times a week and it's like a vacation every time. Meals cooked for me, baby is played with while I leisurely sip on coffee

My mom had a bouncy chair when he was a baby. Now had a booster seat and a couple toys.
Oh and a crib! I bought the bouncy chair and the booster seat. The toys were duplicate gifts so we left them there. And she got him a couple balls.ILs have a high chair from DHs cousins kids that outgrew it and a couple toys. We left our pack n play there because we never used it at home.

My parents have toys, a high chair, a swing, a rock and play, a stroller, a car seat, a pack and play, an exersauser, and a doorway jumper. Plus dishes, sippy cups, diapers, wipes, etc. Heck - my mom even bought a Baby Breza formula maker because she loved ours so much!
My in-laws have a complete nursery, a high chair, an umbrella stroller, toys, an infant seat, a swing and diapers, wipes, feeding stuff, etc.
Basically both Grandma's bought a ton of stuff to have at their own houses so we wouldn't have to bring things.

We go there a lot and usually for a week or more at a time.

My parents have everything, which is nice because they are further away and so we stay longer.
My ILs have stuff for my oldest but I need to send things over for the baby. They lived in a different state until DD1 was about 2 and then moved all the way to our street. We haven't been hanging out over there as much with the new LO because I don't have everything I need so time to go shopping.

None of them have anything b/c my mom watches DD at our house.

My parents have a lot of stuff that they've acquired at yard sales - a crib, a high chair, and lots of toys. My son loves going there because in addition to the nonstop grandparent adoration they have a bunch of different toys (the current favourite is a plastic convertible that he can sit in and ride down the ramp in front of their house) - some of the toys I wish I could bring home so he'd get more use out of!
My in-laws live in England we only go there once a year but they still bought a playpen, a high chair, and a carseat so we wouldn't have to drag all that stuff on the plane, which was very sweet of them.

Yep, they have a good amount of toys. They also have a grandparent rental list in their neighborhood so they can request to rent items from neighbors when they have their grandkids come to visit.

My ILs have all of DH's toys from childhood, and we keep pack n plays + mattresses there for the times we spend the night. My parents have some toys, but not as many. They live a plane ride away, though, and they usually come to us, so they don't need as much.

They have everything, in fact they set up a room for him for when he stays over. They got a toddler bed and put posters up on the wall. The only thing I need to send when he stays over is a change of clothes and some diapers.

They have a small pnp, a few sippy cups and a bunch of toys and books, most of which were D and his brothers when they were young...they have a wooden train set that has survived 8 boys and counting!

Yes, they both have tons of stuff. Not all of it is out, but let's just say either of them could easily host an infant, toddler and preschooler, all at the same time gear wise.

My parents have toys and bathing goods and butt paste.
My in laws have bathing goods and they have 8 year old grandson so DS always finds something to play with.

My parents pretty much have everything. We only had to bring diapers and now clothes. IL's no gear and some old toys that they bought for the nephews.

My in-law's have the basics plus lots of toys at their house. It still feels like I pack a lot when we go there because of their food allergies. FIL does try to buy some safe foods for them, but it's really difficult to accommodate LO2. P

My parents have everything except a baby monitor: crib, high chair, play pen, toys, diapers, food, formula, bottles, dishes, etc etc.
My ILs have.....nothing...

My parents have everything: crib, changing table, dresser for his clothes, high chair, baby bath and toiletries, a borrowed jumperoo and swing (when he was younger), and a fair bit of toys that my mom's sisters have handed down to them, as their grandkids outgrew them. My parents live on the other side of the country, and we visit them for extended visits.
My in-laws are 2 hrs away and have nothing really. We bring a PNP, toys, change diapers on the bed or floor, and hold him in our arms for meals (which is getting tiresome). I may end up buying a high chair just to leave there, even though MIL is "looking." Every now and then MIL hauls out some painted wooden toy from the 70s and I nearly have a heart attack be I don't know if lead paint was used on it - I have stocked up on test kits. We only spend 1-2 nights there once a month or so. We'd probably visit more if it wasn't such a nuisance of having to load up the car with so much. They also don't have baby gates, have open fireplaces, and have stuff everywhere, so I can't really relax and let him have the run of the place. They visit us once a month, as well.

Both sets have quite a bit-- pack n play, booster for eating, toys, etc. DD is the first grandchild for all of them, so they were pretty excited, even though we rarely visit (they live in the south whereas we are in New England).

My ILs do since they provide care for LO's cousins but my parents don't. My mom doesn't really acknowledge LO and my dad lives across the country so he has no reason to.

ILs, my mom, and DH's grandparents all have toy boxes and books at their places for DS but no actual gear.

My parents have some toys and books, a space saver high chair seat, and a spare room with low to the ground beds. The kids like to play outside though and look at their fish tank so not much in the toy dept required. They also have bath stuff there, wipes, bibs, etc.
In-laws have some toys in their little storage room that we occasionally pull out (basically a bag of extra stuff we had in our house). No bathing, eating, or diapering stuff, though.

My parents have a high chair and a P&P that they share with another grandparent friend.
My IL's have everything...except is is mostly 20+ years old and has been used for 13 grandkids before LO, and I get really nervous about her using any of it because the items are worn, missing pieces, stained, etc. For example, last time we visited, they pulled out a P&P that was covered in stains and smelled like urine. Fortunately, DH anticipated this and had brought our own, but it was an awkward conversation.

Yep, they have everything! They watch DD 3x a week so kind of necessary!

My ILs have more than I do - they watch my nieces so they have a crib, swing, bouncer, bumbo, stroller, high chair, toddler bed, diapers, pull ups, straw cups, toys and more I'm not thinking of now.
My father has a PNP, a swing my aunt brought over that she insists works but definitely does not (it's literally 15 years old), and a stroller my aunt brought over. My aunt is killing me because she keeps bringing over 15 year old baby stuff thinking he wants/needs it. I bought a PNP for him because that's all I need when I'm there. She keeps trying to install a car seat in his car that's 15 years old. Everytime she brings it up I tell her we don't need anything and that most baby items that are that old are unsafe (especially the car seat). Ugh plus her nasty stroller is huge and moldy. She keeps telling me to wash it but it's not a part of the stroller you can take off and put in the machine. I'm sorry but I'm not exposing my child to mold just to appease my relative! Okay rant over.

We only visit my parents once or twice a year (but for at least a month). They have a playpen, high chair, jumperoo, and some toys. Everything was either bought at yard sales or from friends. Now, except for the toys, everything else sits in storage until the next one comes.
