I thought I had finally decided that I would get a Solly to use until baby is big enough for the Ergo, but looking at the other wraps/carriers thread, I think I only saw one poster that had a Solly!!
Are they a new brand? Is it just that unpopular? Why don't HBers seem to like/own them?

I don't know about Hellobee but I know several moms with them IRL and they love them. A good friend wears one pretty much all day every day. Her baby is SO happy in it - I am definitely getting one for #2.

I've heard good things about Solly wraps! A friend of mine had a summer baby and said it was much better than her Moby in the heat.

My baby is only 4 weeks but I love it so far! I also have a Beco Gemini that I love and used with my first baby.

They aren't super new but I want to say under five years. A friend has one and loves it! Apparently the fabric is a bit lighter than a moby. I would have bought one but I have a hand me down sleepy wrap that I love.

I have a solly. I've used it tons since my dd was born and just retired it last week at 9 months. It's lightweight and perfect for summer!

They didn't exist when I had my first baby and they have a short lifespan or weight span I should say.
I think they are really popular, just not with the moms that have kids older than the brand.

@Autumnmama79: I didn't really go for babywearing 100% when LO was a newborn either. I tried the K'tan and I liked it but LO wasn't super happy in it. Next time I am going to be committed to babywearing! Watching friends with 2 LOs it seems like far and above the best way.

Have one and love it! Much lighter and more comfy than a Moby wrap.

I have one! it was great for the first 4 months or so. My baby was little in the summer and it was pretty comfortable even in the heat. The key with it is to tie it tighter than you think, once i figured out the perfect tightness it was amazing.
When she got bigger i switched to a Beco.

I borrowed one this time and am a big fan. I find it much easier to wrap and more comfy than the moby I used with my first, plus it's so small that I can keep it in the bottom of my diaper bag all the time. That said, now that baby is about 3 months I prefer my beco Gemini just because it's quicker to put on. But for the first few months we used it all the time.
