on HB who isn't pregnant/ttc?!?
I know there are a lot of toddler mamas now but it seems like they are all moving on to #2 and we just aren't ready yet!

@googly-eyes: Our LO is nearly 10 months old and I am so far from wanting to be pregnant right now!

@MaisyMay: yay there's another one!!
I'm no longer terrified or super against having another (both of which i have been this past year) but just not ready. Sometimes I feel HB is becoming less relevant to me!

@googly-eyes: I don't really feel like it's less relevant because I'm on here asking about sleep and teething, plus telling stories about poop. I like that it's a community and we also have our threads about us as people too.

@MaisyMay: yeah not totally irrelevant but just becoming less so... I'm actually surprised that there aren't more toddler/beyond posts!

I'm also not ready for baby #2, and like you I was super afraid /against another at first! My DD is almost 3 months old so def not ready for a while!
I find the sleep posts so helpful! Also there's lots of family stuff , ans the peanut gallery is my favorite

I'm there with you! C is 18 months and there is ZERO baby making on the horizon for us. Not for a while yet.

LO is 18 months. If she gets a sibling that will probably be a couple of years from now. No inkling to be pregnant or have another one just yet. You are not alone!

Not on HB, but IRL a lot of my Mum friends are pregnant with baby #2. S is only a month old, so we have a looooong way to go before we start thinking about TTC again!

Nope, nope, nope- I am so not ready to be pregnant again!! My LO has just turned one and I have ZERO interest in having another child right now

@googly-eyes: I feel the same way. I just keep looking for toddler posts and hope people keep talking about their toddlers /school-age kids. We're only having one so, we'll never be back to the pregnant/newborn stage!

In about 6 months I'll be in that club. This is my last pregnancy for me.

I'm pregnant right now, but I feel like one of the few who is expecting her third. It seems like many HBers have one or two and that's it. I also feel like there aren't many Mamas to preschoolers...

M is 12 months and we're nowhere near TTC again yet. I don't know how people have two so close together! They're braver than I am!

My son is 18 months and we're no where near having another (on purpose). We still haven't fully decided if we'll even have a second.
And most of my friends in real life are on their 2nd already, as well. We actually left a football party two weeks ago where two of my close friends both had their infants and toddlers with them. As soon as we got in the car my husband goes, "yeah, let's not have another baby. Those people looked miserable!" It's funny because its true.

@MamaBehr: you're right there aren't.. Us moms of older kids need to stick together! I think there are only a handful of active HB moms with pre-k or kindergartener kids like me...
@googly-eyes: I'm really glad you are less apprehensive about having another one now! I remember earlier when you were trying to wrap your head around it! Everyone has their own timing...
@mediagirl: I wish there were more beyond toddler posts too... I think I realized if I want to see them, I have to create them since there aren't too too many of us still.. And I just have no energy! I'm dealing with a lot of discipline issues right now.. If I ever have some success I will share with everyone my experience but so far it's still a work in progress ..

@googly-eyes: LO is 1 year old in a week and we are still waiting for #2 -- especially since we just bought a new house - want to get settled first!

We aren't anywhere near #2 either! All the SAHMs on my street are on their second. We've got a couple years until we will be ready again!

Wow I guess I missed a lot of your responses! Glad I'm not the only one!!!
@T-Mom: Yeah I think now I'm just in denial that it could possibly be as hard the second time around, and after getting through that first year it puts the early months in a better perspective. We were going to try for #2 now, but even though we could do it financially and what not..I just can't right now!

@googly-eyes: yep, I feel left out of the #2 TTC or pregnant thing. Lots in my due date group are pregnant. I have days where I'm totally ready for another, then others not. Deep down, I'm hoping that the first three months are easier than they were with LO since we've done it once before.

@cascademom: Same here, on all counts. Dd didn't have colic but she was just SO fussy and on top of that I had PPD. I know I'm at higher risk next time which is so scary. Now that I've experienced the joys of an older baby/toddler I know it will be worth it, but I'm still nervous!

I'm in "idk if I want anymore" land & definitely feel like all of HB is pregnant or working on it right now.
