Tickling? I am nearly 19 weeks and have been reading up on what early baby movementioned feels like since this is my first. Most people describe it as butterflies or gas bubbles but sometimes I feel like someone is running a finger *very, very* lightly back and forth like tickling and I have the urge to scratch it. It only lasts for a few seconds. I only feel it on the sides of my bump but maybe that's because I have an anterior placenta. Does this sound familiar to anyone or could it be something else?

It could be baby! Last time, I felt the butterflies feeling around 14 weeks, even with an anterior placenta....and that grew to be major thumps and bumps and eventually I could even feel her hiccups.
This time, I already feel occasional movement at only 12 weeks and it's unmistakable to me. It's not the butterflies feeling but it just feels exactly like a tin object moving around in there (all localized in one place). Lately I've been on an OJ kick (I don't typically drink any juices) and it happens almost every time I drink OJ.

I'm 19 weeks and think I've started to feel her. It's like a tapping sensation inside of me. You know when your heart is racing so hard you feel it thumping? It's almost like that but between my belly button and crotch. And it's only a couple of times each time.

I say if it's a feeling that if to weren't pregnant you would question what the hell is that.......it is baby!

I have started to feel some definite movement this week. It feels like a gold fish for me - either a light bump or the "tail" brushing up against me (but from the inside). Little man is active in there.

Yes, it totally feels like tickling sometimes! Sometimes it happens to me at work and it's such an effort not to start giggling
and sometimes there is that feeling like baby is squeezing themselves into a corner to snuggle in... it does kind of feel like a goldfish!

Yeah totally! It can feel very different at different times. For me it felt like that tickling and sometimes like a muscle twitch. I've found that if you are questioning whether or not that's it, it probably is.
I say if it's a feeling that if to weren't pregnant you would question what the hell is that.......it is baby!
