My 37 year old coworker says his mom still calls him Sparky instead of his real name....haha.

I go by a short form of my full name, people who know my rarely call my by my full name. It is on my business cards though, so until a client gets to know me, they call me by my full name.

My family calls me by the shortened version of my full name but not anything cutesy. My husband's parents still call him by a nickname but it is just his name in another language so it isn't terribly odd

My parents and my aunt/uncle call me by my Chinese name, so not really a nickname. All of hubby's family calls him by a nickname, and even his nephew calls him Uncle (nickname). It's hilarious!

My mom's dad still calls her by her nickname sometimes, I don't have one but my DD does, I almost never call her by her real name and I really hope it sticks (she'll be 7 soon).

Yes, most of my family still calls me Tootie! Lol. Or shortened to Toot (but being from NJ it's more of a short o sound, rhymes with foot) I'm 32 but I don't mind
I'll still sign some family members cards that way.

No LOL Actually the older I get the less they even call me by my shortened name. They used to call me Jenny and now they call me Jennifer. Same thing with my sister, they call her by her full name now too.

I don't have a nickname, so no. My aunt still goes by the nickname she's had since a kid and we call her 'aunt nickname'.

Yup, my family and my family friends. When I was married and some work friends were invited, they were like who is "XXX?" I was like, oh that's me!

People, both family and friends, still call me bear or care bear. My mom used to call me tushy face.... that finally ended when I graduated college thank goodness. She'd literally scream across the store, "tushy face! "

No, but they do call me by my full name frequently (first+middle) which used to be reserved for when I was in trouble.

My parents sometimes use my nickname. My cousins do most of the time. My nephews and nieces also call me auntie nick name.

I would have said no but oddly enough my mom called me by my childhood nickname today out of the blue! It's booster and my immediate family called me that for YEARS. I go by a shortened version of my name tho, ali instead of Allison. Hearing my full name freaks me out like I got caught sneaking out!

I get called a shorter version of my full name. But everyone calls me by my nickname. Rarely does anyone use my full name. My mom does still call me princess and sweetie. Actually, now that I think of it, I can't really remember my mom calling me much by my name.

Everyone calls me a shorter version of my name. I always feel strange if someone calls me by my full name. As for LO we call him different nicknames but his name is already pretty short.

Yep. My PawPaw has called me FirstName Belle since I was a baby. My family still calls me that or just Belle.
