As a wedding planner, I attend a lot of industry events and get wined and dined a decent amount by vendors. And then I get to go with my clients to their catering tastings and cake tastings... it's so fun, but bad for my waistline!!
I previously worked for Hyatt Hotels and got 12 free nights a year... I used my comp rooms all over the world: Hawaii, London, Paris, Taiwan, Toronto, Vancouver and lots of Hyatts around the continental US. I REEEALLLY miss this, and is the only thing I miss about my corporate job!!
Leftover flowers at the end of events are a perk, and my interns and assistants consider leftover favors (like candy, flip-flops, etc.) a fun perk
