DS is 15 months and just in the last few weeks have we seen wet eyes.
We've never seen tears fall down his face yet! Even through falls/bumps/etc.
ETA: we have 15 month shots coming up this week, so I'm sure I'll see real tears then

Lol! It all depends. Usually it's crocodile tears over here! Terrible 2s are practicing so that they may be in full force when he does turn 2.

@CupQuakeWalk: Ha lots of crocodile tears here, too!
His real-real tears are often after a bad fall, or after what I assume are nightmares.

LO just turned 1 and despite plenty of crying I've only seen one tear. I probably couldn't do CIO if LO had tears.

DD has had real tears since she was 2 months old. I was shocked because my nephew didn't have them until he was at least 12 months and my brother insisted babies don't get them before then. Obviously he was wrong

Yup! 4.5 mths and tears rolled down her cheeks the other day when she saw her aunt. I think it scared her because we look alike, but it wasn't my voice.

Maybe since 3 months. I find them handy. I know if she's truely upset or scared versus just just mad.

Nope. She gets tears in her eyes but I've never seen them actually fall onto her cheeks.

@delight: oh baby! it certainly pulls at the heart strings!
LO's eyes mostly get wet, but there have been a few times where real tears have fallen. i think it will increase as we get towards toddlerhood and those infamous tantrums.
