Yep, LO's name is Ava and she is definitely an Ava Short and sweet.

My LO is named Ethan. We had a shortlist on my phone that we looked at soon after he was born. As I was holding him, we were going through our names and looking at him. One of the names could have been my brother's name, but he just didn't look like it. My husband enthusiastically said Ethan and it stuck. Sometimes, I say his name and still don't believe that we named him it, other times, it's perfect for him. Part of the disbelief of the name is that we call him "The Dude" or "Little Dude" quite a bit.

Yes, we had a pretty long shortlist but she came out an Elizabeth.

We waited until we saw our son before settling on the final name for him.

Yep! Our DD is definitely a Delaney.

@MrBee - I keep trying to talk DH into using Charlie if we have a boy next because I feel like "everyone is friends with Charlie!" It's such a great boy name and so cheerful & friendly. But he wants to name a boy after his dad... we'll see how that goes when we get there :o)

I think his name fits him, but it was very strange and awkward for me to hear other people call him by his name for the first few weeks. It was like I only wanted me and hubs to be able to use his name.

He's an Evan to me now, but I definitely had doubts the first few months. It wasn't my first or even second or third choice, but it's a family name and one of the very few we could agree on (I kind of think he's a Henry or Finn!)

LO's name definitely suits her - she's our little delicate flower, very sweet, sensitive, loving, and happy, exactly like I pictured an Emily!

I couldn't imagine her being anything else:). I love her name so much!
