DS just has one. My grandfather on my mom's side is his great-grandpa.
I love that he gets to have a great-grandparent. I never had any.

I had one - my father's grandmother - until I was 7 years old. I only had one grandparent, though (my father's mother) as all the rest died before I was born. My LO won't have any great grandparents but he/she will have three grandparents (God willing).

She has DH's paternal grandparents and my paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, so she has four. DH's grandparents will have eleven great-grandchildren by the end of the year and my grandfather has over 20 (I think it's around 24). She's only met DH's grandparents so far though.

My LO will have two great grandmas, one on my moms side and one on dh's dads side. Dh's grandma has been telling us for years that she is ready to be a great grandmother. She's only 82 I think.

LO has met her 4 great-grandparents (though one has dementia and doesn't realize who I am, let alone DD). They are so in love with her!

My step-mum's mum will be our baby's Great Nana. I'm super excited for that!

LO did have one-great-grandma when she was born; but my grandmother passed away at 91 years old several months ago. LO was the light of her life; LO was really the only thing my grandmother lived for at the end of her life. We got some great pictures and I'm so happy they got a chance to know, and love, each other.

Ours will have two in my side (both in their 90s) and all of them on DH'a side. DH's oldest grandparent is only 77, so hopefully, we'll have them around for a long time! They will also have one great-great grandparent on DH's side.

He has a great grandpa, great step grandma, and great grandma on my husband's side and a great grandma on my side. I'm really sad my grandparents that I was super close passed away before he was born.

None on my side, though she did meet my grandpa before he passed away. She has lots on DH's side. She met them this summer, 5 in total.

Yes, my grandpa is in his 90s but he lives in Japan and has never met LO!

I never had any, either. LO will have 1 great grandma on my side and will meet her probably just a couple of times (she's elderly and lives in a home) and will have a set of great grandparents on DH's side, plus a great grandmother (although she has dementia and is not always there...)

He has one - my Grampa. Gramp lives in Michigan, and is 97, so I don't know if LO will ever meet him in lperson, but we will definitely Skype so Grampa can see his 10th great-grandkid!

I never had any. LO has a ton! My paternal grandmother is still living and DH still has all four grandparents still living

DS has all 8 of his great grandparents, but hasn't met 2 of them yet. For whatever reason, my DH's one side of his family never gets together and even though we all live in the same town we never see them. I have only met his paternal grandparents once in 8 years! We really need to take our DS to meet them though!

We recently lost my husbands paternal grandfather but his maternal grandparents are both still alive so at the moment the kids have 2.

My LO has four. My husband's maternal grandmother and both of his paternal grandparents. She also has my maternal grandmother. But my grandmother has dementia and is not well. I'm hoping she can make it until June when we have a wedding near where she lives so we can at least introduce her to LO and get some pictures.

LO has three... my paternal grandparents and my maternal grandmother. All of DH's grandparents passed when he was young.

My LO has my husband's grandparents (his dad's parents, not his mom's); my grandmother (my dad's mom), and my grandfather (my mom's dad) plus his current wife (who gave birth to my mom's half brother).

LO has 3.... My maternal grandpa and DH's maternal grandpa and paternal grandma. We're especially close to my grandpa and he loves everything to do with LO

G is 8 so he has grown up knowing 3 from my side (my grandpa just recently passed away) and has 3 others from his dads side that he only met when he was a baby.
P has my 2 grandmothers & 1 from DH's side.

Just 1, my maternal grandmother is still living (and pretty young! She's 77). She's not the nicest though, and lives far away, so LO won't know her very well.

No, but she has a great-great-grandma! She's 92 (I think) and they met at Thanksgiving. It was great!

Yes she has 2 great grandmas, 1 great step grandma, and a great grandpa. The other 5 have passed away.
