Yes and she used to call us both by our first names a lot but we broke her out of that habit by correcting her each time. She only does it occasionally now. Or she'll say Daddy First Name or Mommy First Name.

He knows DH's name because I call for him all the time - it is pretty funny when he calls for him too. But DH never uses my name so J doesn't know mine.

Yes, my 1 yo only calls me by my first time. Which is hilarious because I have a name that is usually really hard for little kids to say. My pediatrician says it is totally normal for first-borns, and that she has heard some pretty hilarious nicknames that kids pick up from the other parent (like "babe").

So cute!
My 19 month old has no idea....but I actually intend to teach her my name, as well as my husbands/nanny's names, when she gets a big older. A few weeks ago ran into a lost little boy (maybe about 4 years old) in my neighborhood (I live in an urban area full of high rises, so it's impossible to know all our neighbors) and it was so helpful that he was able to tell us the full name of the adult he'd last been with (his nanny) in order to locate her.

@PinkElephant: yes! I was just going to come back and post this! Very important that a child can tell someone their parents name instead of just "mom" or "dad"

Yes ! She knows both mine and DH's as well as babe! She will try to get my attention when I am purposefully ignoring her by saying "hey [my name]...hey babe!" It is hilarious!
She still calls us mama and dada most of of the time though.
