My 4.5 month old HATES the car. Going anywhere with her is torture. So weird because my 3 year old has always loved loved loved the car.

At 8 months she's always loved them. Although this morning I heard her newly acquired high pitched squeal the entire time....sigh.

14 months; grudgingly tolerates-hates with an unholy passion. 6 years; depends on where we're going. I can't wait until Lorelei is more like Ellie and can have a little patience when we're trying to go somewhere fun.

I'm scared to find out how my LO will be. I had a niece who loved the car and would sleep and a nephew who HATED the car and would scream for hours on end (like on a road trip) if he was forced to be in there until he was 2 1/2.
We're thinking of having LO commute with me to a day care near my work (because it's way cheaper), and IF we do that....I can't imagine anything more stressfull than a baby who is crying the whole time, going and coming!

He's 12 months and he is fine for 30 minute intervals. He will eat a snack, look out the window (esp. if I roll it down) or play w/ a toy. After that he gets utterly bored and starts complaining. But if it's nap time, he'll sleep in the car.

She's 6 1/2 months and has always loved her car seat. She'll play for a minute then go to sleep. If I need her to nap, I know I can turn to the car!

She hated them for the first several months, but now she doesn't mind them. She doesn't like the act of strapping her into the seat, but once she's there she's okay.

She's 11 weeks old and usually does fine on car rides. I rely heavily on a wubbanub with its paws stuck in her car seat straps, though.

16 months, loves the car! Talks to his brother, points out the window, squeals and dances the whole time.
Almost 4 years old, fine with the car. Gets bored though.

Both of them sleep as soon as the car starts moving.

He tolerates it at the moment. Usually plays with a dangly toy on the way somewhere and falls asleep on the way home. He used to hate it and cried every time we went somewhere.

At 6 weeks she LOVES it!

At almost 5 weeks she loves the car! In a pinch it's how I get her to nap!!

She doesn't love or hate it.... as long as she's being entertained.

My 9 month old hates car rides. We've found that giving him a pacifier during car rides and stroller rides keeps him happy and quiet.

Hates hates hates. And has from about 2 months on. I dread the car. I'm hoping it'll get better when we can turn the carseat around.

It's hit or miss. He either talks to himself, passes out or screams! He used to scream everytime so it's gotten slightly better
